Anthologies – I love them! Interesting shorts by a variety of authors, something different on every page. Today, I’ve invited several authors from a fantastic new anthology to join me today. Welcome, Authors from Strangers in a Strange Land!

First, the driving force behind the anthology, Author Katherine Tomlinson. She is a screenwriter, novelist, short story writer (a Pushcart Prize nominee for “Water Sports”), and editor. Her short crime fiction has appeared in numerous anthologies. One of her memoir pieces appeared in the St. Martin’s Press collection of “bad boyfriend stories,” WHAT WAS I THINKING? Welcome back, Katherine!

Second, author and editor Chris Rhatigan joins us. He is the author of Race to the Bottom and had contributed to a variety of anthologies published by All Due Respect. Welcome, Chris!

Also joining us is author Mark Rogers, a writer and artist living in Baja California, Mexico. His work has appeared in the New York Times, Village Voice, and other publications. His award-winning travel journalism for USA Today and other media outlets has brought him to 56 countries. His crime novel Koreatown Blues was published by Brash Books; his novels Red Thread, Night Within Night, Sky Dog, and Plunge are available from Endeavour Media in the UK. Welcome, Mark!

Last, but by no means least, is author Robin Claire Barnes. Her writing debut was the 4th grade comedy “Clean up the House” for Worthington Hooker elementary school. The parents loved it. A jack-of-all-trades in the entertainment business, RC (also known as Robin Claire) has been an actress, screenwriter, movie executive, producer, foley artist, director, and in craft services. On a perfect day, she can be found curled up with a mystery, listening to the rain outside, nibbling chocolate, and sipping tea or wine (depending on the hour). She lives in Berkeley and is the mother of three very nice people. Her YA novel “Ink For The Beloved” is due to come out in 2019. Welcome, Robin!
